Baseball Recap: Aurora Central Victorious

Aurora Central lost to Wheat Ridge back in March of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Aurora Central came out on top against Wheat Ridge by a score of 11-6.

Kirby Colbert-Olsen was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Eloy Sifuentes was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Aurora Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got Aurora Central back to even at 2-2. As for Wheat Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
