Volleyball Recap: Salinas Comes Up Short

Salinas suffered their biggest defeat since February 25th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hollister Haybalers, falling 3-0. The Cowboys haven't had much luck with the Haybalers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Salinas was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Salinas' record is now 4-6. As for Hollister, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salinas will square off against Paso Robles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hollister, they will face off against Aptos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hollister is facing Aptos at the right time seeing as Aptos is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
