Softball Recap: Granger's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Granger's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Toppenish Wildcats by a score of 7-2. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Granger's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Toppenish, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granger will face off against Columbia at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Toppenish, they will take on Ellensburg at 3:00 p.m. on March 28th. Ellensburg has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something Toppenish will no doubt try to take advantage of.
