Football Recap: Yankton Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Yankton finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Harrisburg Tigers and fell 49-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bucks/Gazelles have suffered since September 20, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Yankton fell to 3-1. As for Harrisburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yankton will square off against Pierre T.F. Riggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Governors' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Bucks/Gazelles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Harrisburg, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Stevens at 6:00 p.m. The Tigers will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
