Basketball Game Preview: Nordonia Knights vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs

The Nordonia Knights will take on the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Nordonia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

While Nordonia didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Ellet by a score of 58-47 on Saturday. That 11 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Wadsworth on Friday, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory.

Nordonia pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Nordonia came out on top in a nail-biter against Stow-Munroe Falls in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 49-46. Will Nordonia repeat their success, or does Stow-Munroe Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
