Basketball Preview: Palmetto Christian Academy vs. Northside Christian Academy Crusaders
Palmetto Christian Academy is 10-0 against the Crusaders since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, Palmetto Christian Academy will get right back to it and host the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Palmetto Christian Academy's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics by a score of 54-41.
In what's become a running theme this season, Northside Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 62-33 win over Thomas Sumter Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside Christian Academy.
Northside Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Campbell Childers, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five steals, and Natalie Walke, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Kaleigh Howell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Palmetto Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Northside Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Palmetto Christian Academy strolled past the Crusaders in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 45-31. Will Palmetto Christian Academy repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
