Basketball Recap: Winder-Barrow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Winder-Barrow had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through an 86-47 loss at the hands of the Walker Wolverines. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldoggs have suffered since November 23, 2024.

Walker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was King Daniel Hernandez out in front who shot 54% from the field to rack up 16 points along with eight assists and six boards. Hernandez has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lorenzo McCorvey, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Winder-Barrow is headed away from home for the first time to take on Berkmar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walker, they will head out to face off against Therrell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
