Redwood is a perfect 10-0 against San Rafael since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Redwood will face off against San Rafael at 4:30 p.m. The last five games Redwood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Redwood fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Archie Williams on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Peregrine Falcons by a score of 4-3.

Miles Harrison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Sam Gersch also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Rafael). They blew past Terra Linda 20-2 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Cruz Wexler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Aedan Bardoul was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and two doubles while going 4-for-6. Another player making a difference was Colby Jackson, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
San Rafael always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .551. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Redwood has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. The victory made it two in a row for San Rafael and bumps their season record up to 6-5.
Redwood took their win against San Rafael when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 13-1. Will Redwood repeat their success, or does San Rafael has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
