Coldwater took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Miami East Vikings. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their 30th in a row dating back to last season.

Coldwater easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Mia Knapke paced Coldwater's offense, picking up eight kills. Knapke really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 20. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Campbell Etzler, racking up four apiece.

Coldwater has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ottawa-Glandorf on the 16th. As for Miami East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Fort Loramie on the 16th.
