Football Recap: Bishop Canevin Comes Up Short at Home Against Seton Lasalle

Bishop Canevin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 22-7 to the Seton LaSalle Rebels. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crusaders came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Rebels are ranked 338th).

The win got Seton LaSalle back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Bishop Canevin will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Steel Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seton LaSalle, they will challenge Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
