Softball Recap: Altamonte Christian Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Altamonte Christian's offense. They lost 27-0 to Master's Academy on Thursday. Altamonte Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Master's Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Altamonte Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aisling Bane, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Bane is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Altamonte Christian dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Master's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Master's Academy, they will head out to face off against Mount Dora Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
