Whitefield Academy won the last time they faced Social Circle and things went their way on Friday too. The WolfPack enjoyed a cozy 42-27 victory over the Redskins. The win made it back-to-back victories for the WolfPack.

Whitefield Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Hollingsworth out in front who rushed for 172 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Hollingsworth was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Parker Shim was another key player, gaining 165 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Whitefield Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 322 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Social Circle only rushed for 153 rushing yards.

Although Social Circle took the loss, they still got scores from Kayden Fears, Elliot Hamilton, and Christian Paggett.

Whitefield Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Social Circle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Whitefield Academy will take on Darlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Social Circle, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Utopian Academy for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. The contest will give the Redskins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
