Wayne moved up to 149 from 185 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Summit. The Generals climbed the ranks as a result of besting Kokomo 31-28.
Snider extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Homestead, 30-20. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Bishop Dwenger's Cody Miller and Ryan Watercutter have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 503 yards this season, while Watercutter, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 18 catches for 291 yards. Donovan Clark from South Side leads the league in rushing with 1056 yards.
A big matchup in Summit this week will be when the Archers take on North Side. South Side is currently in fourth, while the Redskins are in second.
North Side was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Northrop. Casey Kolkman's team came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
