Baseball Recap: Northeast Academy Takes a Loss

Northeast Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Northeast Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Vann, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Northeast Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pungo Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

While Northeast Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
