Baseball Game Preview: Chavez Titans vs. Franklin Yellowjackets

For the second straight game, Chavez will face off against Franklin. The Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chavez has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 17 straight defeats, while Franklin will come in with six straight wins.

Chavez fell victim to Franklin and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Yellowjackets.

For Franklin's part, Carlos Ayala was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Ayala a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Corona, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Franklin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
