Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seaford). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-7 victory over the First State Military Academy Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Seaford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Vince Evans III out in front who rushed for 36 yards and one score, and also threw for 120 yards and one TD on only nine passes. Everette Burton was in the mix as well, providing the Bluejays with two touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Seaford proved: they limited First State Military Academy to a paltry -1.6 yards per carry. While four picked up at least three total tackles, Brendan West stood above the rest. He rushed for 47 yards and a pair of TDs. Seaford didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.

Seaford's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Seaford pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average over those games. As for First State Military Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
