Manitowoc Lutheran's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Zephyrs on May 12th, they had to take a 6-2 loss.

Manitowoc Lutheran's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Hecker, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Manitowoc Lutheran moved to 8-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for St. Mary Catholic, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
