Volleyball Recap: Holyoke Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Holyoke lost against Wiggins back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dragons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Holyoke ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least nine points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Among those leading the charge was Saria Hawkins, who had ten digs and three aces.

Holyoke's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Wiggins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Holyoke and Wiggins should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Dragons (ranked 31st) will meet Burlington (ranked 99th) at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wiggins will face off against Wray at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 168).
