Soccer Game Preview: Plano East vs. Rock Hill

The Plano East Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano East is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Plano East didn't have quite enough to beat McKinney Boyd and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

Hayden Thies and Gael Torres scored both of Plano East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Rock Hill lost 5-1 to McKinney Boyd on Friday. The Blue Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Plano East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Plano East came out on top in a nail-biter against Rock Hill when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plano East since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
