Softball Recap: Strafford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clever on Saturday, Strafford came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Fair Grove Eagles on Saturday, falling 14-4. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Strafford's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Fair Grove, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Strafford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Marionville on the 26th. As for Fair Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Springfield Catholic on the 26th.
