Baseball Recap: Moody Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Moody's offense. They came up short against the Crawford Pirates on Friday, falling 11-0. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Moody's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Crawford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moody will host Aquilla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford, they will challenge Oglesby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
