Basketball Game Preview: Eastside Early College Panthers vs. Manor New Tech

The Eastside Early College Panthers will venture away from home to take on Manor New Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Eastside Early College strolled past Travis with points to spare, taking the game 43-26. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manor New Tech). They claimed a resounding 90-42 victory over Northeast Early College. Manor New Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

Manor New Tech's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Eastside Early College, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Eastside Early College didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Manor New Tech in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastside Early College since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
