Volleyball Recap: Grand County Falls Short of Kanab in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grand County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kanab Cowboys by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost five in a row.

Grand County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Kanab, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-17 record this season.

Grand County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kanab, they will challenge Maeser Prep Academy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
