Recap: Frostproof Bulldogs vs. Hardee Wildcats
The Frostproof Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Hardee Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Frostproof enjoyed a cozy 78-60 win over Hardee on Tuesday. Given Frostproof's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Hardee is ranked 646th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sevastian Rosado was his usual excellent self, scoring 37 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. Turral Berry was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Frostproof pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hardee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Frostproof will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardee at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hardee's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for they, they will head out on the road to take on Frostproof at 8:00 p.m. Frostproof has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
