Red Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lakewood Leopards, falling 19-12. One positive for the Red Devils, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lakewood, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5-1.

While Red Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
