Marcus Archuleta posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
