Soccer Game Preview: Montrose vs. Roaring Fork + Official Tickets

The Montrose Red Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Roaring Fork Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montrose will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Montrose's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Palisade with a sharp 5-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Montrose's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Palisade are ranked 116th).

Meanwhile, Roaring Fork's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Coal Ridge by a score of 1-0. Roaring Fork have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Roaring Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Montrose, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-2.

Montrose came out on top in a nail-biter against Roaring Fork when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
