Franklin extended the longest winning streak in Delta Valley Conference this week by beating Pitman, 44-27. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Davis moved up to 365 from 404 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league.
Lamar Jackson was a passing and rushing force as Franklin defeated the Pride. He completed 7 passes for 148 yards and also ran for 54 yards. Jackson's favorite target this week was Jabarri Johnson, who caught 4 passes for 94 yards.
Wadus Parker was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 178 yards on 35 carries as Elk Grove topped Pitman. Tommy Arnold also contributed to the rushing game with 48 yards on the ground.
The Wildcats' Jackson and Johnson have formed a dream team this season, leading Delta Valley Conference in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Jackson has thrown for 1,273 yards this season, while Johnson has 31 catches for 587 yards. Parker from the Thundering Herd leads the league in rushing with 1,535 yards.
Grant took down Downey 52-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Donovan Brown threw for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
