League recap: First place up for grabs as Wai'anae and Radford jockey for top spot

Oahu II league recap: 3/20/13

This could be a critical week for Wai'anae, which holds a 1-game lead over Radford for Oahu II's top spot in the standings.

Kevin Klien was the top pitcher in the league this week, leading the Rams. He racked up seven strike outs this week.

Kaimuki's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing two hits and two walks to lead the league in both categories.

Radford's Kekai Mamuad-rin kept his eye on the prize while at bat this week, leading the league with a .429 average (3-for-7). For the season, he's hitting .219, good for 17th in the league. Mamuad-Rin has accumulated seven base knocks this year so far.



The Rams' Klien led the league in strikeouts this week with seven. With 13 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks first in the league.
