Soccer Recap: Eastlake Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Eastlake proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Newport - Bellevue Knights 3-2. Eastlake better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Bruno Perversi, as he scored every single goal for his team.

The victory (which was Eastlake's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Newport - Bellevue, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2-1.

Looking ahead, Eastlake will be playing at home against Bothell/Inglemoor at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newport - Bellevue, they will square off against Issaquah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newport - Bellevue are facing Issaquah at the right time seeing as Issaquah are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
