Softball Recap: Discovery Takes a Loss

Discovery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 19-1 to the All Saints' Academy Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-8 back in March.

Discovery saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tinnley Rittinghouse, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for All Saints' Academy, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Discovery didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Lake Gibson on the 8th. As for All Saints' Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 20-2 loss against Mulberry on the 8th.
