Owyhee faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Storm came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Owyhee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 25-18.

Reese Meier paced Owyhee's offense, picking up 28 kills. Meier got some help from Mary Irwin and her 32 assists. Irwin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Owyhee's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Timberline, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.
