Volleyball Recap: Wachusett Regional Mountaineers vs. Tewksbury Memorial Redmen        
        
		
             On Thursday, the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers came up short against the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen  and fell  3-1. The Mountaineers have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 7-25, 25-11,  25-22.
  Julia Vettese and  Grace Coppolino certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Vettese  had 17  digs, while  Coppolino  had six  digs and four  aces. The dominant performance gave  Coppolino a new career-high in  aces.
 Even though they lost, Wachusett Regional  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in nine consecutive  games.
 Wachusett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Tewksbury Memorial, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record  this season.
 Wachusett Regional is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Algonquin Regional at 5:30  p.m. Tewksbury Memorial has already played their next match,  a  3-1  win against Lawrence on the 18th.
