Baseball Recap: Erasmus Hall Comes Up Short

Erasmus Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lafayette Patriots, falling 18-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dutchmen of the 21-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Erasmus Hall's record now sits at 2-8. As for Lafayette, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.

Looking ahead, Erasmus Hall will head out to face off against Brooklyn Prospect at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dutchmen will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. Lafayette will be paying especially close attention to Erasmus Hall's contest: after Erasmus Hall faces off against Brooklyn Prospect, they'll take on Lafayette again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
