Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Starts Season with Win on the Road

Central Catholic had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the South Terrebonne Gators by a score of 63-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January.

South Terrebonne now has a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East St. John at 7:20 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for South Terrebonne, they will challenge Pope John Paul II at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
