Bret Harte and Summerville are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. Bret Harte will welcome Summerville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summerville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bret Harte, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Bret Harte needed a bit of extra time to put away Big Valley Christian. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Lions. The Bullfrogs haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Madison Kane spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

At the plate, Mariah Colwell was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brennen Brouillette, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Summerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to Linden.

Summerville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn Nikiforuk, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bret Harte's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Summerville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Bret Harte came out on top in a nail-biter against Summerville when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Does Bret Harte have another victory up their sleeve, or will Summerville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
