Softball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern fell victim to West Jefferson and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Roughriders, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roughriders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Monday.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Jefferson, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Northeastern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Mechanicsburg on the 14th. As for West Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-3 win against West Liberty-Salem on the 14th.
