Baseball Recap: Glens Falls Triumphs

Glens Falls proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Edison Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Black Bears have posted since May 1, 2024.

Brayden Bennett was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Glens Falls: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3-1 otherwise. Steven Endieveri was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Edison, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Looking ahead, Glens Falls will take on Lake George at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Edison has already played their next game (against Little Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
