Amondra Moffett Drops League-Best Effort on Friday

Starting off the list is Raymond's Amondra Moffett, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Moffett's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards.

Raymond's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. Moffett and Raymond will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against McComb at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

While Jamison Kelly delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Lanier. Kelly turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 48 yards.

The loss snapped Lanier's winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-1 record. Kelly's next game is against Murrah on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Jeremiah Wilson Makes It Two for Lanier

Keeping Kelly company is Jeremiah Wilson, a fellow Lanier player. He rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
