Football Recap: Cooper Enochs and Julian Baker Secure Win for Miami Trace

Miami Trace won the last time they faced Wilmington and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers snuck past the Hurricane with a 15-9 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Julian Baker and Cooper Enochs. Baker rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown while Enochs rushed for 50 yards and one score. Baker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Miami Trace's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wilmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Miami Trace will welcome Logan Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilmington, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ross at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
