After a string of seven wins, Plymouth Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Salem Rocks, falling 12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 12th.

Chloe Paryaski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Kate Harris was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Plymouth Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Salem, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3-1.

Coming up, Plymouth Christian Academy will head out to take on Novi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Salem, they will take on Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.3 runs per game on average), something the Rocks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
