Jonesboro is 6-1 against Morrow since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Jonesboro Cardinals will be playing at home against the Morrow Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Jonesboro has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 10.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jonesboro challenged Starr's Mill on Friday. Jonesboro lost 55-32 to Starr's Mill. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Panthers are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Morrow unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against Langston Hughes, falling 62-40. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jonesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Morrow, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Jonesboro came up short against Morrow in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 52-40. Can Jonesboro avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
