Basketball Recap: Lowellville Skates Past Mckinley with Ease

Lowellville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the McKinley Trojans 71-26. The contest marked the Rockets' most dominant win of the season.

Lowellville's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for McKinley, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Lowellville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-42 win against Crestview on the 18th. As for McKinley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Jackson-Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson-Milton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully McKinley likes a good challenge.
