Softball Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

Port Chester was the 31-21 winner over Blind Brook when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Port Chester came up short against Blind Brook on Monday, falling 25-18. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Chester got a massive performance out of Melina Morban, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Morban has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamara Correia, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Port Chester will face off against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blind Brook, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Port Chester at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
