Soccer Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

Clear Creek lost against Clear Springs back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clear Creek Wildcats fell just short of the Clear Springs Chargers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Chargers are ranked 93rd).

Clear Creek is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6-4. As for Clear Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Coming up, Clear Creek will venture away from home to take on Dickinson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clear Creek's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Clear Springs, they will host Clear Brook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Clear Springs' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Clear Brook has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
