Volleyball Recap: Jackson-Milton Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mineral Ridge, Jackson-Milton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chalker Wildcats.

Jackson-Milton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Chalker between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-20.

Peyton Ford paced Jackson-Milton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ford got some help from Emma Johns and her 30 assists. Finally, Ford was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Jackson-Milton's win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for Chalker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Jackson-Milton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Maplewood on the 21st. Chalker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
