Socastee and St. James are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Braves will welcome the Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Socastee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 38-19 win over Conway on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday St. James sidestepped North Myrtle Beach for a 20-17 win.

Socastee's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for St. James, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Socastee was able to grind out a solid victory over St. James in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 33-20. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Sharks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
