Basketball Recap: McCreary Central Find Success

McCreary Central hadn't done well against Clay County recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The McCreary Central Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over the Clay County Tigers. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by exactly two points.

McCreary Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Clay County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCreary Central will square off against Wayne County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clay County, they and Jenkins will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
