Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against North Kansas City back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Liberty Blue Jays came up short against the North Kansas City Hornets, falling 75-51. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Hornets are ranked 16th).

Liberty has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for North Kansas City, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Liberty has already played their next matchup (against Staley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Kansas City will face off against Park Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Kansas City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
