After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Daphne, Robertsdale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Foley Lions 17-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Golden Bears needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The team relied heavily on Blakelynn Dunlavy, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahlen Morgan, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Robertsdale now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Foley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Looking ahead, Robertsdale will take on Blacksher in a tournament on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Foley, they will head out to face off against Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
